[Review] Nature Republic Botanical Apple Dome Blusher #1 Pink

ALLLLOOOOHHHHHAAA~! Today I am going to do a review on Nature Republic's Dome Blusher in pink. I had been using this blush a lot recently. The Dome Blusher is not like any other blush, it have a creamy texture and is shaped like a dome. I like this blush because when every time I put my BB cream on, my face would look too pale. I needed something to balance the color out and make it look natural, that is why I love this blush so much. I have never seen something this adorable before, so this product really caught my attention.

1. Shows the front of the blush (I used it so much that the letters are starting to come off )
2. Shows the back of the blush
3. This is how the blush looks like when the cap is taken off

Below is a swatch of blush on my hands, as you can see, it gives a very light and natural pink.
Also there is a picture of me wearing the blush, which gives of a rosy color, not too bright.

TIP: An easy way of applying this product would be a dabbing motion onto your cheeks, then blend it out with your fingers.

Pros:
  • the color is really natural
  • it stays on through out the day
  • it is in an adorable shape

Cons:
  • it only have a little on the top (but it last for a long time)
  • I put BB cream on then blush, but the BB cream gets on the blush so it gets a little bit dirty
  • it is hard to apply without the dabbing method
Cost: around ~$10 in Hawaii

How to: Create Ulzzang Lips

Hello Cuties~! How was your labor day weekend? I am here to do our first makeup tutorial. I have decided on something easy to do so everyone could give it a shot.~
Have you ever searched online and see some pictures of Korean girls or guys who looked like this?
Picture taken from: http://images6.fanpop.com/image/photos/33800000/Ulzzang-guys-ulzzang-world-33888419-400-579.jpg

They are called an 얼짱 which in Korean means "best face" or "good looking". Most of them look like dolls and really good looking people. However, they all have unique makeup techniques and styles. Today we will focus on the ulzzang lips. It is also known as a "gradient" lip since it is usually darker in the middle and fades as it blends towards the outside of the lips almost like a baby's lip or a porcelain doll lips.

Here is the finished results, but lets get started with the materials you will need:

1. Nature Republic: Botanical Gradient Tint- Orchid Plum
2. Nature Republic: Water Tint #2 Pink
3. Nature Republic: By Flower Lip Essence
(you don't necessarily have to use the same products, you could also use something similar)

1. My naked lips
2. Put the Gradient tint on your inner part of the lips
3. Add the water tint on top of gradient tint
4. Add the lip essence for some shine!
(I personally wanted to use the essence because I have dry lips so it will help give moisture through out the day)

Aloha Cuties! From now on, we will be collaborating with Phoenix \m/ Dance. They are a club that started in Hawaii, hence the \m/ sign, which in Hawaii, it resembles a shaka or aloha sign. Although they are interested in doing Korean Pop music covers, they are opened to all genres of music, which they also create their own choreography. Coming from their Hawaiian root, they would always share aloha and open up for any requests that would like to be seen or covered. Feel free to visit their Facebook and Youtube, don't forget to drop a request~! Keep reading this blog for more cover updates from Phoenix and more Korean cosmetics review from us!

"We decided on the name Phoenix because a phoenix has the freedom to fly and change into whatever we want to become, the freedom to be born anew and have limitless possibilities at creativity and ideas, and the ability to take chances without being judged. For a phoenix has an infinite amount of lives and chances to make sure they get it right. The \m/ represents the Shaka sign because of our Hawaiian roots."
