Etude House Reviews Coming Soon

Hi my pretties! We're have recently made a purchase online with Etude House for some of their pretty and pink products. They provide shipping world wide. Click on the link here to go to their website. We actually made the purchase sometime in late December/early January but due to some issues with the delivery service in Hawaii, we are only able to unbox it now. So here we go!
So there were two orders, Kai had her own box and me and Ashley had shared a box. All of the products were wrapped with bubble wrap to ensure nothing is broken or damaged.

In a couple weeks, we will have new reviews of Etude House products. Not everything we purchased will be reviewed but we will try our best to do most of it. See you next time!

[Review] Nature Republic Snail Solution 70 Essence

Around October 2014, I was stupid enough to get myself a scar on my nose using a blackhead extractor. So I decided to get the Snail Solution Essence around the ending of December since the line is suppose to help repair damaged skin, brighten, and help moisturize.
At first I didn't believe that snail could actually help "repair damaged skin" including scars, but after a month of using it my scar has gotten smaller.

The packing is really simple, and comes with a pump.
The 70 stands for the percentage of snail mucus is instead of the essence.
The back is in Korean.

Description
"Revitalizing & Moisturizing."

Price
Around $40-$50 in Hawaii

Size
Not mentioned anywhere on the product???

Product
The texture is really sticky when you touch it, but as you rub it into your skin it absorbs really well.

I don't have any good pictures showing my scar.. (I avoided taking pictures for awhile.) but that red dot in picture was really bad, I actually wore a bandage on my nose for about a month. The second picture the scar is no longer there.

Pros:
         - It helped my scar
         - Absorbs really well
         - My complexion has gotten so much better
Cons:
          - On the pricey side

Recommendations
- The snail line is actually good for any skin type, so it does help break outs as well.
- Snail is good for anti-aging as well
- This is the essence the ingredients are more concentrated (More nutrition)

Overall, Repurchase?
Probably yes, my skin seems really nice ever since I started using this in my skincare.

Good luck and have fun lovelys

[Review] Tony Moly Prestige Carat SmartAB BB Cream

Hey Cuties! long time no post! sorry about that! However, I am back with another review, but this time it is of a foundation. I am a big fan of BB creams so far ever since I discovered it in my high school days! I love it because it doesn't harm my skin and it have all these great benefits that could help my skin, escpecially their ability of coverage! When I first used a BB cream from The Face Shop, I am in love since it covered my blemishes and nastay things. This time I am here trying Tony Moly's Prestige Carat SmartAB BB cream. This BB cream is different from all the other BB creams that I had tried before because it is not as liquidy but instead more of a balm. Below is a picture of the packaging ( I love it because it is purple and it is so shiny!) and how it looks like on the inside, also how it looks like on my skin.
SPF30 PA++

PROS:
  • It have a great coverage.
  • The colors are pigmented, so it goes on smooth.
  • It came with a vibrating brush for an even finish and application, also an extra sponge to change.
  • It have SPF30++ which is great since I live in Hawaii.
  • The balm have a lot so I think it will last me for about a year if I use it everyday.

CONS:
  • I have dry skin on some areas, so the balm made it more noticeable that my skin is flaky.
  • Since it is a balm formula, it does not provide me enough moisture throughout the day.
  • This is my first time using a vibrating brush, so I accidently put a lot on during my first trial, so I think you need a precision of how much you would need, or else you will look pale.

COST:
I'm not sure how much this cost, since someone gave this to me as a gift.
However, it is around $50.85 on Amazon!!

This is the result of my makeup with the balm!

PHOENIX \m/ UPDATE:

Thanks for reading Cuties! I'll post more in the future~!

[Review] Nature Republic Snail Solution 50 Sleeping Mask

Snail Solution here we go! Yes, snail solution as in snail secretion. Have no fear, this is the absolute rave in Korea as well as Japan. The latest trend in Japan is using actual snails in spas to help with anti-aging. Snails are put onto people's faces when they get a facial. It is said to have help improve the overall health of the skin. The sleeping mask from the Snail Solution line is super moisturizing for the skin and revitalizes the skin.
"Revitalizing and Moisturizing"
Bottled Packaging
The Snail Solution 50 Sleeping Mask from Nature Republic is a super thick sleeping mask that packs a lot of moisture. Although the weather in Hawaii is usually warm, I like to use this over the winter because my skin is super sensitive to weather change. I think in Hawaii, the temperature is a little bit cooler, still pretty tropical. Other than that, it occasionally gets rainy and windy.
One way Nature Republic sells this product is in the form of a bottle. When you press on the top, the slot releases the sleeping mask. There is actually another container for the Snail Solution 50 Sleeping Mask. I'm not sure if Nature Republic still sell the small single use packages in the sets of 30 (I think). Personally, I think the bottle container that I have is better in the sense that I can control how much of the product I want on my face instead using a predetermined amount. Alongside that, the bottle sells for a relatively cheaper price. I forgot the cost of the product, but it is about $20 - $30.
Product on my Skin
Overall, this is a wonderful product. At first my skin is a bit sticky but overnight, my skin fully absorbs the moisture from the sleeping mask and leaves my skin feeling super moisturized and plump. The thing about sleep mask is that you always want to put it on your skin at least 15 minutes before you sleep. Waiting for 15 minutes will let the skin absorb in some of the sleeping mask and it will also prevent the sleeping mask from getting onto your pillow or blanket while you're sleeping. For sleeping masks, you want to apply it on after using a toner. It is very similar to creams and lotions where the entire serum gets absorbed by the skin. You wash off the product when you wake up.

Rating: 8/10
Pros: super moisturizing, replenishes moisture to the skin, makes the skin feel softer and more plump
Cons: needs to wait for skin to absorb it, not so great for hot and humid weather
Thanks for tuning in and see you next time!
