Snail Solution here we go! Yes, snail solution as in snail secretion. Have no fear, this is the absolute rave in Korea as well as Japan. The latest trend in Japan is using actual snails in spas to help with anti-aging. Snails are put onto people's faces when they get a facial. It is said to have help improve the overall health of the skin. The sleeping mask from the Snail Solution line is super moisturizing for the skin and revitalizes the skin.

Bottled Packaging |
One way Nature Republic sells this product is in the form of a bottle. When you press on the top, the slot releases the sleeping mask. There is actually another container for the Snail Solution 50 Sleeping Mask. I'm not sure if Nature Republic still sell the small single use packages in the sets of 30 (I think). Personally, I think the bottle container that I have is better in the sense that I can control how much of the product I want on my face instead using a predetermined amount. Alongside that, the bottle sells for a relatively cheaper price. I forgot the cost of the product, but it is about $20 - $30.
Product on my Skin |
Overall, this is a wonderful product. At first my skin is a bit sticky but overnight, my skin fully absorbs the moisture from the sleeping mask and leaves my skin feeling super moisturized and plump. The thing about sleep mask is that you always want to put it on your skin at least 15 minutes before you sleep. Waiting for 15 minutes will let the skin absorb in some of the sleeping mask and it will also prevent the sleeping mask from getting onto your pillow or blanket while you're sleeping. For sleeping masks, you want to apply it on after using a toner. It is very similar to creams and lotions where the entire serum gets absorbed by the skin. You wash off the product when you wake up.
Rating: 8/10
Pros: super moisturizing, replenishes moisture to the skin, makes the skin feel softer and more plump
Cons: needs to wait for skin to absorb it, not so great for hot and humid weather
Thanks for tuning in and see you next time!
